Personal Portfolio Pieces
This CELSIUS spec ad combines retro-inspired animation, a classic fable, and the perfect product to create a unique advertisement that feels fresh while nostalgic in all the right ways.
For this spec ad, I worked as a co-writer, co-director, and sound design lead, including overseeing the musical score.
A Shell of a Comeback!
It’s the rematch of the century between the Tortoise and the Hare. But beware, both have some tricks up their sleeves!
“Calum, eat me, please…"
Fast Food Frenzy combines exciting action and practical and visual effects, like stop motion, tons of puppet fast food monsters, and a good old string and fishing line!
On Fast Food Frenzy, I worked as a co-director, co-writer, sound designer, and executive producer.
Fast Food Frenzy
Struggling to maintain his diet, Calum has to fight his cravings when a mysterious bag of fast food arrives at his door… but what happens when the cravings fight back?
Figgs’ Very Merry Christmas
It’s December 24th, and everyone’s favorite blue puppet — Figgs Newton — is on his way to visit his grandpa for Christmas. But not without a few surprises along the way! Join Figgs as he faces a race against time to save Christmas and maybe discover its true meaning along the way…
“Ah, figgy pudding!”
Figgs’ Very Merry Christmas had the unique challenge of its main character being the blue puppet Figgs Newton! Despite that, Figgs’ Very Merry Christmas is a sprawling, city-wide adventure featuring an unforgettable cast of characters.
I co-directed, co-wrote, edited, sound designed, and co-produced the award-winning Figgs’ Very Merry Christmas last winter.
The F.B.I Wants My Toaster
Now living alone with his father, lonely kid Nik Chatterjee didn’t expect the friend he’d need to be… a toaster! Little does Nik know that the solution to his problems is also the source of others when Special Agent Burman arrives in town searching for a particular sentient kitchen appliance…
“My name’s Special Agent Burman, and your name… doesn’t matter.”
The F.B.I. Wants My Toaster is the newest short film I am producing over the course of this winter.
Car chases, government agents, giant machines, a talking toaster, oh my! Like my previous work (see Figgs’ Very Merry Christmas and Fast Food Frenzy above), The F.B.I. Wants My Toaster is approachable and crowd-pleasing, never sacrificing its weirdness.
The The F.B.I. Wants My Toaster will be filming this winter with a planned release in late spring/early summer 2024! Like others, I will again produce, direct, edit, and sound design!
